I live in Oregon, where sometimes it gets 100F+ degrees in the summer. My condo does not have central air and I am not allowed to have a window unit, so I worried about a portable unit that could keep my place cool enough for my dog. This unit has done an EXCELLENT job™€¦. The fact that I can see the temp of my home from my phone while at work is reassuring, and I know my dog is comfortable. I can control the temp, vent swing, and mode all from my phone when outside my home. This is great product, I highly recommend!

Works Great in our RV

We bought this unit to supplement our overworked rooftop air conditioners in our RV while we endure the Summer heat in Florida. So far it's doing a great job of keeping our RV cool with no problems. the Wi-Fi connection means we can adjust the unit and even see what temperature the room is from a cell phone even when not at home.

not working as expected

When I set thermostat (example 76 degrees) and I know if is only 70 degrees in the room, the unit does not shut off. It runs constantly. This is in Auto mode. Am I doing something wrong?

I bought this at the big box store. It said it would cool 700 sqft. It does not We set it to 60 it never cooled 400 sqft. It was 85 degrees outside no humidity. Never got down any lower than that. This is from the stores webpage BTU Cooling Rating (DOE SACC): 10000 BTUCooling Area (Sq. Ft.): 700 not even close. This should have cooled 400 sqft cost too much for lack of cooling, useless.

This being our first non window unit - we are pretty impressed. We liked that it came with its own size customizable window piece where the exhaust hose fits. It went in our old window sill and attached in less then a minute. Wifi Set up was easy, the app installed and worked for long distance on/off and temperature settings as well as you also have the internal temp of your room displayed. Runs super quiet by everyone's standards, much quieter than even the window unit. The size of the unit is unobtrusive, about like a dorm fridge. We have a four room combo and it cools the room it sits in the best, then just a few temperature rise for each room as you get further away from the main room. Filter cleaning has an app notification when it needs cleaning, and is easy to rinse with a sink/shower sprayer, dry and put back in place easily. Overall a great product!

It has worked excellent so far but hot weather has not come in yet. For a week or so that we had warm weather, I didn't notice any change in my electricity usage. One improvement can be made in schedule. When the schedule is programmed, even though I turn off the unit,but comes on at the time it's set to turn on after a period of off schedule. It does this even though the temperature is much cooler than requiring AC.It was easy to install but the plastic window cover is not long enough for the height of my window, which is standard height.

Works excellently. This is our third in-room AC and the prior two were a different brand that only lasted 3 years each. This one is clearly a better quality. It cools our large, vaulted-ceiling bedroom easily. It is sleek looking, quiet, and the Wifi integration works well with our very Alexa-enabled home. You have more options in the application than I expected, I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it . ONLY downside - the larger BTU capacity and quality make this unit a little larger than past units but that's too be expected.

The unit is nice and so far I like it in the short time weve used it . There are two things I can complain about on the cool setting when the compressor kicks on its loud I haven't tried the other setting yet to see if it's like that on the others and the fan dosen't stay on the whole time when it gets to temp the fan shuts off until it gets above temp.

Work well, cools down pretty big spaces in a sort time. More quite than most of portable ACs, it has a built in wi-fi so you can connect and control it from your phone even if you™€™re not home. It is big though, you™€™ll definitely need some space for it.

Did a lot of research before purchasing this model, mainly due to a good Consumer Reports rating. Works well so far and quickly cools my NYC apartment. It is pretty large but necessary until my building turns the AC on... It is a bit noisy as noted in other reviews, but not terrible. My only issue is the exhaust hose. Initial set up was easy but it's cheap plastic and the exhaust hose keeps coming out of the connector B so I am in a constant readjustment to avoid having the hot air come out the back. The app is a great feature so I can easily monitor when I am not home.

My Condo is comfortable again!

The unit was easy to set up and install in my condo's window. All the parts needed were supplied. My window was taller than the window kit that was supplied so I purchased a longer window kit on Amazon for a relatively good price and it all worked out.The unit itself is good looking, quiet and easy to operate. My Condo is 1,100 square feet and with all bedroom doors left open the until made every room comfortable even during a few heat waves here in California. I would recommend this unit to anyone who does not have central air conditioning and needs relief form the heat.

Really glad I bought this machine. especially living in a condo where my climate is controlled by the building. I go this to have a temperature of my choice in 700sqft and this baby does it!I am a bit let down that the window attachment doesn't really have a temporary installation solution - or a more comprehensive list of replacement parts to re-order window-seals and hose attachments. All in all - it's been a great appliance so far and I'm hoping for many more years of keeping it cool in my home.
