Wonderful Alternative Cooking Modes

I love the appearance of my new Frigidaire Galaxy oven and induction cooktop. The induction cooktop is really a step up from my old electric stove. Lots of areas for various sized pans and totally smooth surface for easy cleanup. The wall oven has numerous cook modes but the air fryer and steam bake modes are a real special!

Almost Perfect

We have used the oven to make pizza, brownie, and baked veggie so far. Brownies and baked veggies turned out to be great with convection oven setting. Pizza bottom was not crispy. In our previous oven, we had a heating element at the bottom. After about 10 minutes on the top rack, we used to move the pizza to the bottom rack to make the bottom crispy. Since there is no heating element at the bottom of this even, we could not make the pizza bottom crispy. Have ordered Cast Iron Pizza Pan. Once it arrives, we will if that makes the difference.

Our double wall ovens gave up their last breath on late May 2023. When shopping for replacements, we found the product offered by Frigidaire was ideal: strongly functional, exquisite in appearance, and reasonably-priced. We purchased two ovens and they were delivered and installed just recently. They work like a dream.

My observation is limited in that I'm an old unmarried batchelor who mainly heats up take out and leftovers. Plus the ocassional frozen pizza. The appliance is sure snazzy looking I guess anyway.

Quality Control Issue

Just received the oven today. Overall it looks very nice. Easy to install and the fingerprint stainless steel is darker and actually matches some of our other black stainless better than I had thought. My main issue is the Frigidaire badge on the door that is etched is off center. I though something looked off and it™€™s a full inch and a quarter too far to the right. If this was some cheap oven I picked up I wouldn™€™t care. But for a 2600$ oven the fact that the a simple centerline measurement was messed up doesn™€™t give me a great Vite of confidence in the product. Not to mention it™€™s off center from clock above it and the double cabinet door below it. Called Frigidaire and they informed me to call the supplier. Called the supplier and they told me to call Frigidaire. Go figure. Would add a photo but mobile doesn™€™t support it I guess.
