Do NOT fall for the craft ice

This fridge has been nothing but problems. The craft ice maker broke 2x within the first 2 years. The standard ice maker broke once immediately after the 2 year warranty. Once replaced we then had to lower the water pressure to where it would take forever to get water. Lastly the right door has never remained closed unless you push hard on it so not ideal when you have children. It has been extremely frustrating to experience all of these problems in the 3 yrs that we have owned it especially at this price point. I would advise that you thoroughly conduct your research before making a big purchase like this.

15 months new and needs $458 repair

I do not recommend LG and will not be purchasing from them ever again. I purchased my fridge on 8/14/23 and it was installed on 8/19/23. Today is 11/27/24 and the fridge has been showing an error code for the past week. After contacting LG they stated someone would need to come out to repair a part in the fridge. After taxes it will come out to $458. This was the first fridge I have ever purchased brand new and I regret my decision to give my hard earned money to this company. The lack of care and concern is evident. Seems very fishy that 5 months after the manufacturer warranty ends my fridge begins to show issues.

Great looking refrigerator

Purchased an LG Refrigerator from Best Buy. on 09/14/2023 model # LRFS28XBD with bottom freezer. Great looking Fridge BUT at exactly 1 month past the warranty. The fridge started leaking water melted ice from ice/water dispenser and the screen read IF E called Best Buy no help.Called LG directly and they helped me clear the error code.3 days later same code and fridge was not cooling Unplugged fridge for 2 hours and all was good. 8 days later same problem water on dispenser IF E code called back trouble shoot by phone all seemed to work. 7 days same problem called LG they gave me a courtesy maintenance repair. Fridge no longer under warranty. On Monday 11/11/2024 an LG specialist replaced the ice maker fan When I asked how often this refrigerator would have issues. He said once a year. If not more often. I purchased this unit because it looks real nice and has great features But was not expecting to have to repair it yearly. I am hoping I can purchase an extended warranty but have not received an Invitation # and with out this # I am not allowed to purchase extended warranty. 3 stars because it is a great looking fridge. Hoping to get an extended warranty plan as soon as I get my invitation #. Will update on this review after I hear from LG directly. written on 11/13/2024

LG French Door Bottom Freezer

The glass shelves in the refrigerator unit tilt slightly in toward the center. The surface of the top freezer drawer is so smooth that frozen items slide around making it difficult to keep things organized.

I bought this 9/10/24. It is beautiful but the ice situation is not good for us. It is a very small container. So we upgraded to the dual ice maker and craft ice with the middle drawer that can be used as a fridge or freezer We received the new fridge and we absolutely LOVE IT The ice box is still the same size but the craft ice comes out in balls a they last super long We are extremely happy with the upgraded refrigerator that also has a door in door

Weve had this for 3 weeks and the French door style is very cool and spacious compared to our old side-by-by side. It too a little time to figure out the right temperatures but the food is at the temperatures we like them now. The new ice maker is a nice feature and makes perfect size cubes reliably

Have had delivery scheduled and confirmed twice first time no show second time 1 of 2 appliances only delivered. No update on what has happened to remaining appliance. Actually Id give it a 5 star except for one thing. On rare occasion the ice machine clods up if you dont use it often. Otherwise I love the fridge. I like how you can rearrange the shelves for your needs whenever you want. I also like the bottom freezer because I can organize it better than a side by side and I really like the fact that I can empty the ice-maker and use the one compartment in the freezer for extra ice if I want too.

I am a big fan of LG everything i own is Lg. This particular refrigerator not quite as happy with it as I have been other LG products. I think there has to be a better way to open bottom little draw in refrigerator without having to open both French doors that is awkward. The freezer need another pull out drawer not deep and take away the big bottom tubs

Bought this in Jan. 2024 and the freezer fan stopped working before the end of May 2024. Been out of service for 3 weeks now and still dont have a firm date on when it will be back up and running. Worked well and ran quietly until fan went out.

Let me start by saying what a beautiful appliance this is the ice and water functions on the door are seamlessly integrated. It keeps my food cold and is very roomy. I do wish there was a butter compartment on the door I miss the one my old fridge had. Also if you need a bunch of ice this is not your refrigerator. Definitely get the one with dual ice makers. The doors have to be able to open totally to have full use of the deli drawer so if thats a problem measure carefully. Overall I am very happy with my purchase I did tons of research and for me this was the best bang for my buck.
